What to send customers after a job

The cheapest work to win is from customers you’ve already done a good job for. A few short messages keep you in mind.

A simple aftercare routine

  1. The day you finish. Say thank you and make it easy to report a problem.
  2. The same week. Send care tips and guarantee details they can keep.
  3. A few weeks later. A short check-in. It catches small problems before they become complaints.
  4. When it’s due again. A reminder for anything that needs regular attention, like a service.

Keep marketing honest and light: only remind people about things that genuinely matter to them, and always give an easy way to stop the reminders.

The messages

Short and personal. Change the [square brackets] and send.
